Previously, he worked for many years at FPS Fritze Wicke Seelig Partnerschaftsgesellschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB as head of the energy law practice group. Hans-Christoph Thomale advises energy supply companies on energy cartel law and energy regulation issues (also accompanying transactions) and on drafting energy supply and network contracts (electricity, gas, heat). He represents energy supply companies in disputes concerning the validity of price adjustment clauses and abuse proceedings before the antitrust authorities. Another focus is on concession award proceedings. In addition, Hans-Christoph Thomale deals with mandates from the power plant sector and questions of contracting, self-supply, combined heat and power generation and renewable energies. Furthermore, He is the author of several energy law publications and lectures on this subject at numerous conferences.
