Raquel González Labor Partner

Raquel is a partner in the labor department of Forvis Mazars Tax & Legal.

She holds a Law degree from the University of Salamanca and a Master's in Legal-Labor Advisory from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues. She has been a practicing member of the Madrid Bar Association since 2003 (Col. ICAM nº. 75608).

Raquel has primarily developed her activity in the field of labor, procedural, and Social Security law.

She has over 20 years of experience advising and representing companies and groups of companies – both national and international – in all aspects related to individual and collective labor law, employment policies, workforce restructurings, senior management, and other special labor relations, as well as assisting and representing them before various social jurisdiction courts.

Raquel has taught classes in various seminars and master's programs at different business schools (Centro de Estudios Financieros-CEF, Asociación para el Progreso de la Dirección-APD, Asesoriza), all related to Labor Law. She also has extensive experience in labor litigation and collective bargaining, as well as in restructuring processes and handling employment regulation files (collective dismissals and temporary regulations). In this regard, she has been involved in some of the main labor relations conflicts that have taken place in recent years in companies from various sectors (telecommunications, logistics, retail, hospitality, and banking, among others).

Since 2020, she has been recognized by the Best Lawyers directory in the category of Labor & Employment Law.

Additionally, she has extensive experience in labor due diligence, as well as providing legal advice in service transactions for large listed and unlisted companies and groups (SPA negotiation, analysis of protection clauses, drafting of executive contracts for sellers, etc.).
