Carlos Marcos Audit Partner

Carlos Marcos holds a degree in Economics, an Executive MBA from the Instituto de Empresa, and a Master's in Auditing from the University of Alcalá de Henares. He is a member of the Official Register of Auditors of Accounts with number 17577.

Carlos Marcos joined Forvis Mazars in 1991 and has been a partner since 2006, being responsible for Audit and Assurance and the financial sector. Additionally, Carlos was a member of the Management Committee of Forvis Mazars in Spain until 2024.

Carlos has extensive experience in handling banking issues under local regulations (Circular of the Bank of Spain) and IFRS. His experience also focuses on skills related to internal control and risk management.

Carlos is a member of the Forvis Mazars International Banking Team.

In other sectors, Carlos has worked with Alstom, Bouygues, Grupo Saur, Veolia, Air Liquide, etc. Additionally, Carlos Marcos has undertaken contracts related to due diligences (buying and selling) and business valuations (companies, business lines), the diagnosis and implementation of IFRS, and the development and direction of specialized training.
