Steve Brice Partner – Head of Accounting Technical Services

Steven is head of our Accounting Technical Services (“ATS”) team and is an expert on accounting under International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) and UK GAAP ("FRS 102").

Experience 

Steven has provided technical accounting support to many clients over the last 20 years and routinely deals with complex accounting matters. Steven also regularly works alongside the Forensic and Investigation Services team at the firm and has acted as an Expert Witness on many occasions in respect of accounting disputes. 

He also leads on financial reporting valuations (PPAs, intangibles and share options).

Work Highlights 

He is the current chair of the Corporate Reporting Faculty of the ICAEW and is a member of the Technical Strategy Board. Steven was appointed as a member of the Advisory Panel of the Financial Reporting Council (‘FRC’) until December 2021 and was also formerly a member of the Technical Advisory Group (‘TAG’) of the FRC.
