Forvis Mazars appoints Chris Ridley as Tax Partner and Head of UK National Innovation Incentives tax team

Forvis Mazars, a leading global professional services network, has appointed Chris Ridley as a Tax Partner and UK Head of its Innovation Incentives (R&D and Patent Box) tax team.

As a Partner based in the firm’s Poole office, Chris works with a diverse range of clients, from startups and SMEs to large international organisations, across various sectors. In addition, Chris’s national role continues to build on the strong reputation of Forvis Mazars’ Innovation Incentives team, supporting eligible clients to identify opportunities for R&D and Patent Box claims.

Chris is also Group Head of Forvis Mazars’ Global Innovation Incentives Board, collaborating internationally to develop Intellectual Property strategies that align with commercial goals, whilst maintaining tax efficiency. He is a published author having written books on Research & Development with Patent Box.
