Laura Clarkson Partner – Head of Healthcare

Laura heads up our national healthcare sector client services which encompasses compliance and advisory services across accounting, tax financial planning, and McCloud Pension Rectification services.

Experience 

Laura has been advising healthcare clients for well over 20 years across a number of key issues including annual allowance and pension tax issues for individuals and benchmarking and profit maximization for GP practices. Laura helps our clients to help themselves by providing meaningful statistics which enables the partners to have relevant strategic discussions. There are many examples where these benchmarking KPIs have been at the core of strategic planning decisions to enhance profit, improve work/life balance or retain staff.

The principle of helping clients to help themselves applies equally to our individual healthcare private clients. Pension and tax regulations are complex and ever-changing, and Laura spends time with clients ensuring they are best placed to understand how these complex regulations affect them individually. Many of Laura's clients have been with her throughout her career advising healthcare professionals.
