Breda Griffin Director - Financial Services Consulting
Breda is a Director within our Financial Services consulting practice. Breda has worked on engagements for different banks and investment firms where she brings her strong technical expertise in risk management framework and experience of ‘holding the pen’ on the production of ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Plan, Resolution Pack and Pillar 3 disclosures for many years.
Breda has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the firm, Breda worked in Banking where she developed enterprise-wide risk management processes, including policies, procedures and risk appetite for the bank ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. She also developed the bank’s key risk indicators, reporting and dashboards for market, liquidity, operational, credit and regulatory risk to provide management with key information to ensure there was sufficient monitoring and proactive management of risks that could potentially impact the bank achieving its objectives.
Breda also worked for over 12 years in the wholesale commodities markets, holding several roles including being an Intraday Trader and a Power Trader in London and Paris for international trading companies. She led the development of trading desks looking at new initiatives to create increased efficiencies for the Power market across Europe and Eastern Europe, whilst developing and strategizing efficient and financial gains aligning with the firms risk strategy and appetite.
