Supporting ACCA Living Wage research

Forvis Mazars is proud to support the Chartered Certified Accountants ACCA global survey into the Living Wage. The survey will underpin research that explores the extent to which living wages are integrated into business strategy and sustainability goals, globally.

"As accounting professionals in the 21st century, we have an emerging role to play in promoting sustainability and a social agenda that ensures wealth equality", explains Richard Karmel, Managing Partner, London.

During 2021 and 2022, we worked in partnership with the Capitals Coalition and Shift, to devise an accounting model for living wages that enables companies to measure and report on living wage progress in their own workforces and supply chains. The ACCA learned of this and asked for our support as they aim to gain a better understanding of the obstacles and enablers companies face when it comes to payment of a living wage and how high this is on the corporate sustainability agenda.

The research consists of an online survey and series of roundtable discussions throughout June. Findings will be published in September 2024.
