Experience

Conrad regularly provides restructuring advice to businesses ranging from small owner-managed businesses to medium-sized companies. His experience allows him to appraise a business’s circumstances, outline the options available to stakeholders and the advantages and disadvantages of each, to then recommend and implement the most appropriate solution.

He has built relationships with accountants, solicitors and financial institutions and regularly provides restructuring guidance to those stakeholders and their clients.

Work Highlights

  • The liquidator of a retail business – with three shops across the North West, where the director had a large personal guarantee liability. Following the closure of the three shops, the Liquidators were able to find a buyer for the fixtures, fittings and stock, maximising the value for creditors and therefore reducing the level of the personal guarantee that the director was liable for.
  • The liquidator for a solvent group – restructure for a client with multi-dormant companies achieving a reduction of annual costs and a distribution of assets after a thorough clearance process.
  • Administration/wind-down – of a previously listed organic pigment business based in North West and London. Maximising the recovery for all creditors through the completion of the work in progress, sale of business, IP and assets.
