Benjamin has experience with advising companies on the application of IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP. He advises companies on transaction-related accounting challenges, covering IPO-readiness accounting support such as GAAP conversions and post-acquisition accounting support such as complex consolidations.
He prepares accounting papers to support companies with accounting for complex transactions such as debt modifications and complex revenue and lease arrangements, applying IFRS 15 and IFRS 16. Benjamin has supported clients with accounting aspects of large infrastructure projects, including performing IFRIC 12 assessments and the review of accounting applied in financial models.
Benjamin has performed presentations on complex accounting topics, including revenue (IFRS 15), leases (IFRS 16) and service concession arrangements (IFRIC 12), in the UK and internationally. He has project-managed clients through the accounting aspects of their IPO processes, including arranging key meetings, setting project plans and timetables, and identifying solutions to accounting issues.
He has also supported clients through the application of new accounting standards, including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16, assisting with the identification of key contractual arrangements and performing analysis to provide clear conclusions.
