Gabriel Sauco

Gabriel Sauco is director in charge of the restructuring area, within the Financial Advisory division of Mazars in Spain. Prior to joining Mazars in 2021, he was head of institutional banking at Banco Santander (commercial segment comprising Public, Private and Financial Institutions), where, for example, he led the structuring and formalisation of the two largest syndicated transactions in this segment, both in 2019 and 2020.

Gabriel holds a degree in Business Management and Administration, from Universidad de Extremadura, Master in Finance from Cunef, and PDD from Instituto de Empresa. He counts with extensive experience in the financial sector, especially in the area of risks and restructuring. He has developed a large part of his career at Banco Santander, where he has held various positions of responsibility.
