Gabriel Sauco Restructuring Director

Gabriel Sauco is the director responsible for the restructuring area within the Financial Advisory division at Mazars in Spain. Before joining Forvis Mazars in 2021, he was the director of institutional banking at Banco Santander (a commercial segment comprising Public, Private, and Financial Institutions), where, for example, he led the structuring and formalization of the two largest syndicated operations in that segment both in 2019 and 2020.

Gabriel holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Extremadura, a master's in Finance from Cunef, and a PDD from the Instituto de Empresa. He has extensive experience in the financial field, especially in everything related to risk and restructuring. He has developed a significant part of his career at Banco Santander, where he has held various positions of responsibility.
