Elena Cervera Quality Partner

Elena joined the firm in 2015 as the person responsible for monitoring the Quality Control System of Forvis Mazars Auditors, being appointed partner in 2019.

Elena holds a degree in Business Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She has a Master's in Auditing from the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca and a Master's in Tax Advisory from CEF. She is a Registered Auditor in the Official Register of Auditors of Accounts (ROAC), an Accredited Accounting Expert Member of the Register of Accounting Experts (REC), and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Spain.

Elena has extensive experience in accounting and tax advisory, as well as in financial auditing, holding positions of responsibility in various companies.

She was the Quality Control Coordinator between 2008 and 2015 (collaboration agreements with ICAC from 2009 to 2012, internal Quality Control of the Corporation in 2008, 2009, and 2010) at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Spain (ICJCE), where she was responsible for coordinating and supporting reviewers (between 10 and 12 auditors) in the collaboration agreements between ICJCE and ICAC.

Additionally, from the technical and quality department of ICJCE, she supported ICJCE members in resolving doubts related to quality control regulations and the implementation of the Quality Control Standard, as well as the preparation and delivery of seminars to help auditors understand the Quality Control Standard and NIA-ES 220.
