Antoni BOVER, President of Mazars in Spain, new President of the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie Française de Barcelone
- He studied at the Lycée Français of Barcelona and speaks French, Spanish, Catalan, English and Greek.
- As lawyer, he has nearly always worked in Mazars. From 2002 on, he is its President in Spain and Mazars’ world responsible of the “Law” activity (Mazars is an international organisation specialised in audit, tax and legal services, and externalisation of financial and labour services.)
- A. BOVER has been strongly linked to the Chamber for many years. From November 1999 to June 2008, he was the General Secretary.
In its 125th Anniversary, the Chamber is the oldest foreign chamber in Spain and the oldest French chamber.
Bover explains that the chamber offers a service to foreign enterprises that want to settle in Barcelona, and to Spanish enterprises that want to settle in France. They have more than 500 enterprises associated. “France and Spain have a great level of economical exchange. Before the crisis, France, that does not suffer that situation as much as Spain does, is the priority of Spanish enterprises”, points out Bover. Besides, he “reminds the implication of the Chamber’s director, Philippe Saman, before the challenge of trying to evolve in a crisis changing context.
