Burges Salmon’s Pensions and Restructuring teams, who acted for the Trustees on the Silentnight Case, together with the Valuations team, a part of the Financial Advisory and Consulting team at Mazars, who were one of the principal experts in the Silentnight case, will be hosting a webinar to share their recent insights on the Pensions Regulator’s powers in practice.
In addition to summarising the Regulator‘s new powers, we will look at how we think the PSA will apply the new rules in practice and, in light of these new obligations, provide some practical guidance on how key stakeholders may need to adapt their approach when looking to understand and then monitor the key drivers of employer performance and valuation in the context of their pension obligations.
We will also be performing a demonstration of our new Burges Salmon PSA Triage Tool which is designed to help employers and trustees to navigate the new powers and make practical decisions following business events.
Clive Pugh (Burges Salmon), Andrew Eaton (Burges Salmon), Helen Cracknell (Burges Salmon), Stephen Skeels (Mazars) and Mark Boughey (Mazars) will be presenting the webinar which will be relevant for pensions trustees, employers, lenders and practitioners.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions in a Q&A session.
