Mazars launches Catalyst programme to facilitate and accelerate growth potential of fledgling businesses
Mazars, the international accountancy and advisory firm, announces the launch of “Catalyst”, a university incubator start-up business programme that facilitates and accelerates growth potential of fledging businesses.
For the inaugural year of the programme, Mazars will be partnering with two universities - Cranfield and York - and will be working alongside them to support incubated start-ups. Those start-ups that become part of the Catalyst programme will have access to a number of benefits including one-to-one mentoring, access to funders, business networks, seminars, business performance review and much more.
Elisabeth Maxwell, Partner and Head of Innovation on the UK Executive Board at Mazars, commented on the programme: “We are pleased to launch the Catalyst programme to offer start-ups support and opportunities to reach their full potential. The programme demonstrates Mazars’ commitment to innovation and to building long-term relationships with start-ups businesses.”
Tom Coward, Enterprise Development Officer at the University of York added: "We are delighted to align with Mazars to strengthen the support we can offer to student start-up businesses, helping more and more ideas get off the ground and develop into successful ventures.”
