Victoria is a manager in the Narrative reporting team within Accounting technical services. Her key responsibilities include checking audit client annual reports for compliance and consistency before publication, advising clients on matters related to corporate governance and reporting requirements, and drafting technical guidance.
Experience
Before joining Forvis Mazars, Victoria qualified as a company secretary. She has three years’ experience in company secretarial departments of FTSE 100 and non-listed financial services companies. Her responsibilities were drafting and reviewing annual reports, performing governance compliance checks, and reviewing and managing governance policies and processes. She also supported remuneration, stewardship, and the executive and board audit and risk committees.
Before working as a governance professional, Victoria worked in investment banks for 11 years, such as JPMorgan Chase, Barclays Capital and Commerzbank AG. She specialised in risk management of interest rate derivatives, and valuation methodologies and policies.
Work highlights
Victoria is a member of the Guidance Notes Working Group of the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland. The working group produces technical guidance notes for chartered company secretaries and governance professionals. She has extensive knowledge and experience in both corporate governance theories and operational corporate governance.
She is a member of the Well-Makers Network committee at Forvis Mazars; promoting wellbeing across the firm in the UK.

A graduate member of the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.
Victoria received a PhD in Financial and Management Studies from SOAS University of London. She studied Manufacturing Systems Engineering (BEng), Mathematical Modelling (MSc), Law (GDL), Financial Economics (MSc), and Banking and Finance Law (PCLL).
