Mark Hubbard Tax Partner - Banking & Capital Markets
Mark leads our Financial Services Tax practice. He is a Chartered Accountant with extensive tax advisory and tax management experience from both Big Four and FTSE 100 inhouse roles. As a corporate tax advisor at Ernst & Young, across ten years in both London and New York, Mark specialised in supporting financial services clients on structured finance and international corporate tax matters. Following that, for a further ten years at Barclays Bank plc, Mark held a number of senior tax roles including, most recently, as the Global Head of Tax. He gained broad and deep experience helping the bank manage its tax risks, develop the relationship with HM Revenue & Customs and build out effective tax governance for the group.
