Mazars provides buy-side financial and tax due diligence and valuations services to GreenYellow
GreenYellow is a major player in the energy transition sector (controlled by Ardian). This deal contributes to its growth in Europe with the acquisition of Grow Energy Management (GEM), an expert in decentralised photovoltaics. This operation makes GreenYellow a leader in photovoltaic solar power and energy efficiency in Portugal and Poland, in the industrial and commercial sectors.
GreenYellow integrates a multisite portfolio of nearly 120MWp ready to build or already in operation, including a large-scale 100MWp project in Poland. Together with GEM in Portugal, GreenYellow plans to develop more than 100MWp over the next three years.
Pierre-Paul Jacquet, Partner, commented:
“This project with GreenYellow exemplified the powerful combination of our global reach, local expertise, and sector knowledge, particularly in the renewable energy industry. This synergy played a pivotal role in our successful collaboration with GreenYellow.
Our London-based due diligence energy team took the lead in coordinating the project. Working closely with our financial and tax due diligence experts in Portugal and Poland, they also received valuable support from our valuations team in France.
Throughout the project, we maintained constant communication with GreenYellow's M&A team and GEM Management, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow that aligned with the overall timeline of the process.
Working with GreenYellow has been an incredibly positive experience. Their team's unwavering dedication, responsiveness, and willingness to integrate Mazars' teams as part of their project team greatly contributed to the successful outcome we achieved. We express our sincere gratitude to GreenYellow for placing their trust in us, and we eagerly anticipate the continuation of our fruitful partnership.”
