SMP Career Day (30 November 2024)
On November 30, 2024, Forvis Mazars in Hong Kong participated in the first SMP Career Day organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).
Our Managing Director, Jimmy Yip, who serves as Deputy Chairman of the Small and Medium Practices Committee (SMP) and Chairman of the SMPC Practice Management and Digitalization Support Group, was one of the speakers of the sharing session with the topic on “Career development in the accounting field”. He shared his experience from his professional journey with everyone: “An essential key moving up the career ladder is to pull our weight, take up the challenge, and learn how to prioritize our work along the way.”
Following the sharing session, our HR representatives connected with graduates and students, introducing opportunities at Forvis Mazars and conducting on-site interviews. This event provided a fantastic platform to engage with bright graduates and students, showcasing the diverse career paths available within SMPs.
