Official opening cocktail

A cocktail reception was held on the evening of 3 September 2009 to celebrate the official opening of the new office. Hundreds of guests, including clients, business partners and contacts, friends and alumni gathered together to share the joy. John Mellows, Senior Advisor to Mazars Group Executive Board of Asia-Pacific

Region, addressed the function. He was particularly impressed by the rapid growth achieved by Mazars in Hong Kong in the past two years. Together with the growth of the Hong Kong/Mainland offices and other Asia Pacific countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam etc, Mazars has grown from about 500 people in 2006 to now with over 1,800 staff in the region. M.L. Man, Executive Chairman, and Kenneth Morrison, Managing Director, also spoke to thank those attending. John led a toast for the future of the firm and good health for the guests.
Most of the guests enjoyed chatting and touring around the office and everyone received a gift of assorted tea sets as a souvenir.
