Mazars sponsors HKICPA 2012 Conference

In 2011, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“HKICPA”) has launched the first edition of a series of high-level annual conferences aiming to identify and monitor the key factors influencing the business community and accountancy profession in Hong Kong.

Renewing its support as one of the key sponsoring firms, Mazars’ Practising Directors - Paul She and Jimmy Yip - will attend the HKICPA 2012 Conference which will focus on “Hong Kong as a world capital market – Opportunities and challenges”.

The theme of this event is “sustainability” at the heart of the business strategy – implementing corporate governance, reporting procedures and effective communication means but also including corporate social responsibility in the - and evolution of the profession – new directions and influences impacting businesses.

Each year, the HKICPA aims to provide insights to the participants through presentations and panel discussions by speakers and moderators from Government, Hong Kong Stock Exchange, listed companies and audit firms.
