Paul Bevan named Dealmaker of the Year in the East Midlands Dealmakers awards

The Mazars Deal Advisory team was also recognised for their role as lead adviser on the acquisition of BWB by CAF Group, which was named Deal of the Year.

The East Midlands Dealmakers awards recognise the achievements by the professionals, advisers, law firms and investors in the deal-making sector across the region.

Partner Paul Bevan was named Dealmaker of the year. He was recognised for his excellent M&A work, his expertise in the SME sector and the major transactions he was involved with in the past year. These transactions include a £20m+ covert MBO in construction, sale of Gee Tee Signs, growth investment in Badgemaster, sale of RCS to Rhenus and not least the BWB acquisition deal by CAF, which was named Deal of the year.

The East Midlands team at Mazars led the BWB sale, having marketed the opportunity globally. In CAF they found an extremely enlightened acquirer, looking to build its UK and English speaking presence worldwide. The sale of this Nottingham (HQ) engineering group BWB Consulting has been hailed as ‘one of the best international deals in the East Midlands for some time’.

We have worked tirelessly with our clients to deliver first class transactions, as well as a number of life changing events along the way.’’
