Mazars wins the Diversity and Inclusion award in All About School Leavers awards
Mazars is proud to announce that it has won the Diversity and Inclusion award at the All About School Leavers awards 2018.
The award was presented on 17 May 2018 at the Sheraton Grand in London, during the ceremony hosted by comedian Josh Widdicombe.
Now in their sixth year, the All About School Leavers awards celebrate the Top 100 employers for school leavers. The awards are judged on the opinions of apprentices and school leaver trainees from 100 UK organisations on a range of criteria including skills development, career progression, training and company culture.
Mazars was commended for its internal initiatives and social mobility work experience programme. The judging panel commented: "It is really positive to see that diversity is monitored during the selection and employment of apprentices and school leavers".
In addition to winning the Diversity and Inclusion award, Mazars was ranked #28 in the overall All About School Leavers Top 100 - #7 in the ‘Accounting & Professional Services’ category. Dale Turner, AOS Corporate Assistant in Mazars’ Leicester office, was the runner-up for the School Leaver of the Year award.
Praising the People and Culture team, Ian Wrightson, Partner and Head of People and Culture, said: “Diversity and respect for individuals is one of our core values at Mazars and we are proud to be recognised for our Diversity and Inclusion strategy. Our People and Culture team strives to create programmes that help build an inclusive culture where everyone feels welcome and supported to achieve their potential, no matter their background.”
