Mazars commended for social mobility efforts

The nominations reflect the efforts to create an open and diverse place to work for people from all backgrounds. The Top 50 Social Mobility Index recognises the organisations that are taking the most action to ensure they are open to accessing and developing talent from all backgrounds. The ENEI awards celebrate the best employers for equality and inclusion, and also recognise the commitment that organisations are making to achieve diverse and inclusive workplaces and really making a difference.

Both sets of judges reviewed Mazars' recruitment and development policies, and the Social Mobility Index used staff-submitted surveys to influence their decision.

Ian Wrightson, Partner and Head of People & Culture, said: "We are delighted to have been ranked #16 in the Top 50 Employers 2018, especially as this is the first time we have submitted an application. We are already looking at the ways we can make further progress, and this shows us that we are on the right track to creating an inclusive and welcoming business for our staff, as well as clear recognition of the work that we have been doing to enhance social mobility at Mazars".
