Mazars appoints Guy Jubb as Independent Non-Executive
In addition, Guy will be a participating observer on the UK firm’s Audit Quality Board in order to bring to it his experience and insights on a range of audit and governance issues.
Guy, who is an Honorary Professor at the University of Edinburgh Business School and the former Global Head of Governance & Stewardship at Standard Life Investments, brings to Mazars a distinguished record of leadership in corporate governance and business best practice. Previous roles include membership of the Investment Committee of the Association of British Insurers (ABI), Co-Chair of the GC100 and Investor Group, the Global Auditor Investor Dialogue and the Conference Board’s European Corporate Governance Council, and member of the Standing Advisory Group of the PCAOB, the US audit regulator, from 2014 to 2016. Currently, he is a member of the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS), chairing its Constitutional Panel and Strategy and Research Advisory Group, and he is a director of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI).
