Mazars acquires Hall Liddy
Mazars, the international tax, accountancy and advisory firm, has acquired Hall Liddy, the leading medical accounting firm in the North West. Hall Liddy will join Mazars’ established specialist healthcare sector team to form one of the largest providers of tax services, accounting, and advice to GPs and medical consultants in the UK.
All 31 people of the Hall Liddy team will join Mazars’ Manchester office, located in St. Peter’s Square, accompanied by the existing management team of Des Liddy, Andrew Pow, and Melanie Thomas, who will join the Mazars’ partnership following the acquisition. David Hall will join Mazars on a consultancy basis. Hall Liddy was established in Manchester in 1992. The firm advises over 2600 clients in the medical sector including GP practices, salaried GPs, locums, hospital doctors and consultants, as well as barristers and retired professionals.
As part of Mazars, the team will be able to respond to the shifting needs of the health sector clients, reflecting the demand for a growing range of digital solutions which can be seamlessly adopted using Mazars’ suite of Accounting and Outsourcing Services. These are delivered via the Cloud and include compliance, payroll, tax and company secretarial services.
