Ian Holder appointed as Birmingham Office Managing Partner

An auditor by training, Ian has specialist experience working with privately owned businesses and not for profit organisations. He is regularly involved in corporate finance work and transaction support services. As OMP, Ian will be responsible for creating and executing business strategy for a 170+-strong team.

The Birmingham office has recorded strong recent growth via serving entrepreneurial businesses and private clients, large and listed organisations, and public service bodies. Ian will continue building momentum in the Birmingham market, taking an outward-focused approach and emphasising Mazars’ place in the local market.

Mazars Birmingham office has enjoyed a successful 12 months with notable award wins for ‘Outstanding Diversity and Inclusion’ and ‘Overall Business of the Year’ from the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce. In addition, the office has seen numerous individual awards for members of the team including Laura Thursfield, Jon Bennett, Ruzwan Boota. These wins illustrate Mazars’ commitment to its employees and their development, something Ian aims to build on over the coming years.
