Ian Prescott Manager - Employment Tax

Ian is an Employment Tax Manager, covering the whole spectrum of employment taxes.

Experience 

Ian joined the firm in July 2022 as a Tax Manager in the Employment Taxes team and has 30 plus years of experience in employment taxes.

Past experiences include HMRC, top 30, top ten, and Big Four accountancy firms. During his career, Ian has spent time working alongside in-house tax professionals, providing him with an insight into the processes and controls in place in industry, which enables him to provide pragmatic advice to clients.

He has particular experience in the following areas of employment taxes:

• Payroll
• Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
• Off-payroll including intermediaries and agencies
• Employer compliance issues
• Due diligence
• Reward strategies including implementing salary sacrifice arrangements and employee benefits in kind issues including PAYE settlement agreements and taxed award schemes
