Gerhard is an Audit Partner in our dynamic fast paced mid market audit team. Gerhard specialises in mid market businesses at various stages of their life cycle, with a focus on the South East.

Experience 

Gerhard qualified in South Africa in 2008, and a move to the UK eventually culminated in him joining the firm in 2015, after a number of years in technical financial reporting roles in industry. Gerhard's technical background serves him well in the current market where he focuses on the audit of businesses in the evolutionary stages of the life cycle, be that corporate transactions, refinancing or expansion through acquisition or similar.

Work Highlights 

A personal highlight of Gerhard's includes working with a client after buy out from a global Insurance group, through 2 audit cycles and eventual sale. This included quick response and assistance in multi-jurisdictional expansion, collaborative work on quick response to complications arising from the acquisition and an unsolicited approach to the sale, all in a space of 24 months.
