As a Partner, Financial Services & Advisory Leader within Forvis Mazars Romania, Răzvan Butucaru, together with his team of passionate professionals, offers support for the critical moments that define the success of a business.​ Răzvan is currently leading the financial services and consulting department within the local office, which offers a variety of services such as M&A assistance, consultancy in the implementation of various accounting and regulatory standards, IT consulting, corporate governance, and risk management services. His client portfolio includes companies from various sectors, with a special focus on the financial services sector.​​

An important aspect of Răzvan’s activity is keeping the boards of directors and the executive management team informed of what matters to investors, regulators, and other key stakeholders to help them better manage their businesses. Răzvan frequently conducts workshops for his clients, speaks at various technical events, and is the author of numerous articles in the specialised press.​​

Before joining Mazars, Răzvan started his career in an international audit and consulting company and subsequently worked in the banking sector for a large regional financial services group.​ Răzvan holds a BSc from The Bucharest University of Economic Studies, majoring in Banks and Stock Exchange from the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banks and Stock Exchange alongside an MSc from the same university majoring in Internal audit within the financial services sector. ​​
