Updates on freedom of movement restrictions by the Slovak government from 2. to 8.11.
Updated government restrictions from 2. to 8.11.
This curfew does not apply to:
- a person who proves his negative test result carried out from October 29 2020 to 1 November 2020 or certificate issued by the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic with a negative result of an antigen test certified in the European Union for Covid-19 disease carried out from October 29 2020 to November 1 2020 by an entity participating in the nationwide testing,
- a person operating in the security system of the Slovak Republic and a person in a civil service, a person performing work in the public interest and a member of rescue and security forces performing tasks in the field of crisis management, crisis situations, emergencies, protection of public order and defense of the state, who proves his negative test result carried out from October 28 2020 to 30 October 2020 or certificate issued by the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic with a negative result of an antigen test certified in the European Union for Covid-19 disease carried out from October 28 2020 to October 30 2020 by an entity participating in the nationwide testing,
- a person who proves his negative test result of an RT-PCR test carried out during the curfew according to this resolution (i.e. from November 2 2020 to November 8 2020)
Persons who do not have a confirmation of a negative PCR test for Covid-19 disease will not be able to leave their homes from 05:00 am to 01:00 am the following day.
There are few exceptions:
- transfer in order to procure necessities of life to the nearest retail store from the place of residence - residence means the place where a person lives (this includes going to grocery store, purchase of medicines, purchase of hygienic goods, cosmetics and other drugstore goods, purchase of feed and other pet supplies, provide childcare, provide care for domestic animals, refueling),
- transfer to a medical facility for an urgent medical examination including accompanying of a close person or relative,
- transfer to undergo RT-PCR TEST or an antigen test for covid-19 disease,
- transfer to attending the funeral of a close person, baptism ceremony, marriage,
- transfer for the purpose of caring for a close person or a relative who is dependent on such care,
- walk with a dog or cat within 100 meters from the residence,
- transfer of the child to and from the childcare facility up to 3 years of age and kindergarten,
- transfer of a zero-grade pupil, a first-year to a fourth-year primary school pupil to school,
- the transfer of the child to and from the educational counseling and prevention facility.
The curfew does not apply to (without the obligation to have a negative result of test for Covid-19 disease):
- child up to 10 years of age,
- a person who has overcome Covid-19 disease and has proof of overcoming it not older than 3 months,
- a person who has been diagnosed with Covid-19 disease between August 1 2020 and October 15 2020,
- a person whose medical condition or medical contraindication does not allow the COVID-19 test to be carried out,
- a person diagnosed with a moderate or severe mental disability,
- a person treated with a severe autism spectrum disorder,
- a person treated for a severe, congenital or acquired immunodeficiency,
- cancer patients after chemotherapy or transplantation who have leukopenia or persons on cancer or other treatment affecting the immune system (biological treatment) due to the risk of delaying regular administration of treatment, radiotherapy or other planned treatment, e.g. oncologist, hematologist or radiologist,
- persons who, at the time of comprehensive testing by antigen tests certified in the European Union for COVID-19, have been prescribed isolation at home by a regional public health authority or are incapacitated for work due to quarantine by their general practitioner for adults or general practitioner for children and adolescents.
The measures on operation of public catering issued October 15 2020 remain in force. This means that fitness centers remain closed, restaurants are still unable to serve food indoors, there is a prohibition on mass events, a limited number of people in shopping centers, a prohibition on gathering more than 6 people etc.
The government has recommended to the Chief Hygienist issue a regulation that will allow to public operations to require upon entry from persons confirmation of a negative test for Covid-19.
