Damien Lambert Head of Sustainability Services
Damien joined the Forvis Mazars Melbourne office to head the sustainability services division, bringing a unique skillset of both practical and academic experience focused on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues and non-financial reporting.
Early in his career, Damien worked as a financial auditor specialising in financial services, including banks and asset management companies. He spent five years with KPMG Luxembourg then a year with EY Switzerland. He then worked in academia, teaching audit and assurance methodology and pursuing research on non-financial reporting and ESG issues at Monash University.
Damien has a PhD from ESSEC business School (France) and received his chartered accountant certification in Luxembourg. He is an Accounting for Nature ® accredited expert and hold an honorary position with RMIT University in Melbourne.
