Employers’ legal responsibility to stamp out sexual harassment

Preventing harassment is not only a legal obligation but crucial for fostering a safe work environment.

However, according to a national enquiry by the Australian Human Rights Commission, there is a significant prevalence of workplace sexual harassment. Yan Flageul is Associate Director of HR Advisory at Forvis Mazars, and he underscores the importance of reviewing and enforcing workplace policies that encourage a cultural shift towards zero tolerance, for any form of harassment.
