The new European Union taxonomy regulation is designed to support the transformation of the EU economy. Its purpose is to meet the objectives of the European Green Agreement, including the goal of climate neutrality by 2050. Based on the classification of economic activities into six groups, the Taxonomy seeks to explain to companies, investors, or policymakers which activities are sustainable and to support investment flows in these activities.

At our webinar, we presented the Taxonomy directive with an emphasis on its last, sixth goal: Protection and restoration of biodiversity and ecosystems. The discussion also included practical examples of projects that can inspire Slovak companies doing business in segments with a direct impact on the environment. What benefits will a well-chosen strategy bring them in the future?

The webinar was held in Slovak.
