Ciara Browne Director, Actuarial & Risk
Ciara is a director of actuarial and risk services in the FS Insurance team. She is a Fellow of both the Society of Actuaries in Ireland (SAI) and Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and a designated Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA).
Ciara advises insurance clients on financial reporting, risk management and regulatory issues and is the lead actuarial specialist on several large and complex external audit engagements. She has worked with a wide variety of insurers from small start-ups to large international groups with high-risk PRISM status. She has significant experience covering all aspects of the Domestic Actuarial Regime, Solvency II and IFRS 17. She is a Central Bank of Ireland approved Head of Actuarial Function (PCF-48).
Ciara is an active contributor to industry discussions, sitting on the SAI’s Sustainability and Climate Change Steering Group and the Cross-Border Life Insurance Committee and has presented at a number of actuarial conferences and events.
