About Bianca de Kroon (1981)

De Kroon studied law and economics in business and society (2003, with honours), tax law and notarial law (both 2005, with honours) at Utrecht University. Next, she followed an LL.M programme at Cambridge University. She has been working at Mazars as an estate planner / tax adviser since 2006. The very heart of her consultancy is building bridges between legal and tax aspects. The thing that fascinates De Kroon most about her profession is the way in which the various disciplines come together, sometimes in an almost mathematical way. Finding tailor-made solutions for seemingly difficult problems is what gives her energy.

De Kroon mainly works for wealthy families and individuals, substantial shareholders, entrepreneurs, advisers of private clients - such as family offices, civil-law notaries, bankers, legal counsel and tax advisers - and charities. Clients also regularly appoint her as executor and/or administrator.

In addition to working at Mazars, Bianca teaches Gift and Inheritance Tax Law and Estate Planning at Leiden University. It is important to share knowledge in various ways, both with people who are looking for an optimal solution for their situation and with people who want to learn the profession. This is why she likes to teach and regularly speaks at internal and external events on (international) estate planning.
