Forvis Mazars strengthens the Tax, Accountancy & outsourcing and Audit & assurance partner team

30 September 2024 - Recently, Bettine van Droffelaar and Roel Janssen were appointed partner at Forvis Mazars. Effective 1 November 2024 Hubert Visser will join Forvis Mazars as partner. This expansion further strengthens the Tax, Accountancy & outsourcing and Audit & assurance practices.

About Bettine van Droffelaar (1984)

After HEAO, she started her career at the Big 4 and followed a master's degree at the University of Amsterdam. After more than 12 years, she made the switch in 2021 as Senior Tax Advisor to Forvis Mazars in Nijmegen. In 2022, she became a Director here and since September this year she has been working in Utrecht to build the Tax practice. Over the years, she has developed into a specialist in family businesses with an emphasis on real estate, not-for-profit and in the field of Tax Control Framework. She is also interested in innovation in the broadest sense of the word. As innovation ambassador, for instance, she co-invented the national innovation training programme at Forvis Mazars.

About Roel Janssen (1991)

Roel started his career at Forvis Mazars in 2010. After completing his studies at the Arnhem and Nijmegen University of Applied Sciences, Roel obtained his accountant title (AA). Roel continued to develop within Forvis Mazars, co-founded the Young Profs Board AOS in 2016, and was appointed Director in 2022. He leads the Flex market group within Forvis Mazars and is a member of the Family Businesses market group. His service-oriented approach at AOS mainly focuses on privately owned businesses.

About Hubert Visser (1972)

After completing his accountancy education (RA) at Nyenrode Business University (1997), Hubert started as a trainee at the audit firm Eshuis-Blömer before joining the audit department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1998. In this position, he laid the foundation for his focus and passion for the public sector and social organisations in an international environment. In 2001, he started at KPMG. Here, he developed his expertise in the education, charity and social housing sectors. Hubert is chairman of the RJ education working group (RJ660) and also a member of the supervisory board of two foundations that are active in the field of education and development cooperation.
