Vanaf 2024 moeten veel grote bedrijven verplicht laten zien wat hun impact is op het klimaat en de mens. Dit doen zij in een zogenoemde ‘duurzaamheidsrapportage’ en is het gevolg van de Europese richtlijn Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Op dit moment is er geen verplichting voor het MKB. ‘Toch is het belangrijk om je voor te breiden op de eisen van de CSRD. Bijvoorbeeld als je samenwerkt met leveranciers die wél moeten voldoen aan de nieuwe richtlijn’, vertellen Danny Janssen en Frenkel Mazenier van Mazars.
