On 10 November 2023, the German Parliament, by a large majority, adopted the draft law submitted by the Federal Government to implement the Council Directives (EU) 2022/2523 on ensuring a global minimum level of taxation and accompanying measures (the “Mindestbesteuerungsrichtlinie-Umsetzungsgesetz”) for multinational enterprise groups and large-scale domestic groups.
