To me, International Women's Day celebrates achievements and raises awareness of the importance of gender equality. As a D&I Committee member, I’m a strong believer in gender equality as a whole which we deliver through a variety of education, awareness, leadership, development and community initiatives.

In your opinion, what are the key ways to #AccelerateAction towards equality and positively impact the advancement of women?

Encouraging mentorship programs, providing equal opportunities for leadership roles, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture are crucial steps I think are needed to #AccelerateAction towards gender equality.

How do you think International Women's Day can influence the perception of women in leadership roles?

By highlighting the successes of women, challenging stereotypes and inspiring others to see the potential and capabilities of women in leadership positions.

What advice would you offer to young women who are just beginning their careers?

Seek out mentors, continually develop your skills, and don't be afraid to voice your ambitions. Believe in your abilities and seize opportunities that come your way.

What inspired you to be involved in shaping D&I at Forvis Mazars?

My journey and the support I have received have motivated me to engage in diversity and inclusion initiatives. Forvis Mazars offers several leadership opportunities, including the Women in Leadership program, which supports and mentors emerging female talent. Having experienced programs such as this myself, I want to ensure others have the same opportunities for growth and success.
