Kim Hanrick Consultant
I specialise in advising clients on all aspects of their financial business, arming them with the knowledge, advice and connections they need to make informed decisions to grow and improve their businesses.
As the founder of Hanrick Curran (now Forvis Mazars in Queensland) in 1984, I have over 35 years of accounting and business management experience. During this time, I have developed a deep knowledge of a number of industry sectors, from tourism and hospitality, to agribusiness and corporate family business, with ongoing client engagements and a genuine passion for the industry.
My professional expertise coupled with my personal business experience is highly regarded by my clients and Queensland business communities I have been associated.
I work across a broad range of areas of expertise, including business advisory services, dispute resolutions, tax planning and litigation support. In addition, I have held a selection of official and honorary positions in commercial and not for profit organisations.
I enjoy extending my knowledge by attending both local and international business events and embracing technology to improve efficiencies. I also prioritise knowledge sharing within the broader industry and have served as mentor to many a young professional over the years, helping and advising those who seek my council.
Outside of work, I am a family man and in my spare time I enjoy the company of wife and 6 adult children. I am a keen traveller and especially enjoy learning about and immersing myself in, the local culture of countries I visit, exploring beyond the tourist tracks.
