Jamie Towers Partner
I work closely with Australian clients to simplify taxation obligations and to create tax effective structures and solutions for businesses and their owners.
I am the head of Forvis Mazars Queensland’s Tax Consulting Division and for over 25 years, I have been providing taxation advice to a diverse range of clients, from international groups and listed corporates to SME businesses and high net worth individuals.
I predominantly advise Internationally focused inbound and outbound clients with tax advice including M & A and restructuring including tax consolidation, cross border taxation issues and indirect tax matters.
I also work closely with Australian clients to simplify taxation obligations and to create tax effective structures and solutions for businesses and their owners.
I consult to other professionals such as accountants, lawyers and financial advisor providing expert tax advice to their clients.
When I’m not at work, I like to challenge the ‘boring accountant’ stereotype. I am passionate about travel and keeping fit and have trekked to Everest Base Camp, climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, white water rafted on the Nile and kayaked around icebergs in Antarctica, along with participating in triathlons and marathons.
