Forvis Mazars advised Polywater, a leading U.S. manufacturer of lubricants, sealants, and cleaners for the electrical, water, and telecommunications infrastructure, on its acquisition of Carima S.r.l., Milan-based company specializing in environmentally friendly lubricants for optical-fiber cables’ installation.
Polywater Group is a market leader in the production of lubricants and cleaners used for cable and conduit installation and maintenance in the infrastructure and telecommunications sectors. Since its inception in 1974, the group, headed by American Polywater Corporation, has been at the forefront of developing innovative chemical solutions for cable installation and maintenance, boasting an extensive distribution network across all continents.
Carima S.r.l., headquartered in Gessate (MI), is a renowned manufacturer of specialty chemicals for the electrical and electronics industry, with expertise in insulating gels, resins, and sealants. The company is recognized for its innovation in developing eco-friendly insulating materials.
Both companies are known for their commitment to innovation and sustainability, offering solutions that enhance efficiency while reducing environmental impact.
This strategic acquisition will enable Polywater to create significant operational and commercial synergies and to strengthen its presence in European markets.
