Dr Marc Anschlag has been a salary partner at Forvis Mazars in the field of medical law and insurance law since 2024. He previously worked in the same areas at BDO Legal and headed the medical law practice group. Prior to that, Marc Anschlag was a lawyer with a medical law/insurance law department in the Cologne office of the law firm HECKER WERNER HIMMELREICH. He has many years of experience in advising and representing service providers in the healthcare sector (in particular hospitals, medical care centres, professional associations, care facilities, investors, etc.) in court, especially in the areas of hospital law, medical law, contract physician law, cooperations, contract drafting, medical device law and liability law. Marc Anschlag also advises and represents clients in court on insurance law (in particular recourse proceedings, D&O/trust liability insurance, coverage issues, liability representation).
