Peter Maletz Consultant

As an avid contributor to my client's strategic plans, I assist them to determine the path to improved profitability and business value.

Having worked in the accounting and business industry for over 40 years in Australia and overseas, I have broad business management and accounting expertise that is valued by my clients. I work across a diverse range of industries, with particular interest in hospitality and integrated tourism developments, and I also have extensive experience in the mining industry - having acted for numerous resource companies in Australia, Papua New Guinea and other jurisdictions in the Asia Pacific region.

Whilst I am passionate about strategic planning, I am equally passionate about supporting my clients through the implementation of strategies by providing Board of Advice services. I have extensive corporate experience in this Board of Advice role, having held executive positions on an International School Board, the University of Queensland Rugby Union Club, the Papua Club, the Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce and as President of the Australia / Papua New Guinea Business and Cultural Society.

Whilst I work across a broad range of activities, some of my key areas of expertise include taxation and business advice, international business and tax (with cross border transaction advice into the Asia Pacific Region), business valuations, due diligence, profitability reviews and forecasts, litigation support, business planning and corporate advisory.

Outside of work, I’m a proud father and grandfather, I enjoy swimming regularly, playing golf and travel.
