Being involved in all stages of the business life-cycle from start-up or purchase to successful exit via various methods of sale, is what I enjoy most.
Since 2000, I have been working closely with businesses of all sizes, with a focus on business structuring and tax advice. My practical taxation experience, understanding of business issues and attention to detail assists my clients in making the right decisions. I am passionate about proactive and personal service – something that my clients value highly.
Part of what I do, involves advising my clients on optimal business and investment structures to achieve asset protection and maximise after-tax profitability. I have substantial experience in dealing with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) audits, high net wealth client reviews and management of taxation liabilities. I utilise my extensive expertise in taxation and GST advice, ATO audits, management of taxation liabilities, management accounting, taxation planning, business structuring, asset protection and finance to create the best outcomes for my clients.
My clients are diverse in nature, ranging from large property investment and development groups, large retail groups, engineering firms, primary producers and professionals.
Professionally, I have presented to various audiences on taxation and accounting issues. and regularly advise on income tax, capital gains tax and Goods and Services Tax matters including in the context of ATO reviews and audits.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and have visited 22 different countries so far. I hope to continue travelling with my family for years to come.
