ASIC Lodgement Extension for 2020
For example, this change will permit a large private company to lodge by 30 November, rather than the normal 31 October.
The change in lodgement deadlines extends to most lodgements, meaning the lodgement extension is also available to companies with an Australian Financial Services Licence (“AFSL”).
ASIC’s lodgement extension includes relief in respect of holding Annual General Meetings and further guidance is available on the ASIC website (refer ASIC 20-113MR).
