Cyber security analyst

Job description

You will be working on a range of tasks, which will include:

1. Carry out assessments of internal controls, information and business risks, IT governance and cyber security
2. Assignments typically covering regulatory compliance audits, threat and vulnerability assessments, IT infrastructure and Information Security Audits, Business Continuity planning, and IT support to external audit engagements

This position provides an excellent personal development opportunity as well as career prospects for the job holder.  The successful candidate will form part of the Firm’s Advisory team and will report to the Advisory Director.  You can expect to learn, get involved, be empowered, innovate and feel first-hand the valid contribution you are making to our clients’ operations. 

Qualifications

You are a team player, self-motivated and proactive.  You have an analytical mind as well as an eye for detail.  You possess excellent English spoken and report writing skills.  You have qualified BSc (Business + Computing) and/or BSc (Business + Information Technology) with a minimum of one years’ work experience in a cyber security environment.  You are willing to undertake further studies in CISA, CISM and CISSP certification.  Current studies for a degree in cyber security will be considered an asset.
