Payment service providers workshop
The EU commission will be organising a workshop for all payment service providers affected by the new requirements coming into affect as from 1st January 2024 on Friday 23rd September 2022.
The new requirements include the entry of the transposed Council Directive (EU) 2020/284 which introduces certain requirements for payment service providers and Council Regulation (EU) 2020/283 aimed at strengthening the administrative cooperation in order to combat VAT fraud. This workshop will discuss the CESOP system, being the system whereby information shall be exchanged.
