Capital Projects and Business Incentives
The Minister noted that further investments in the country’s infrastructure will be entered into.
Social Measures
The Malta Budget 2024 included a number of Social Measures.
Green Economy
The Minister announced that investments will be made in the road network which will include introducing more bicycle lanes and pedestrian areas. Moreover, by 2024 the charging points for electrical cars will be increased by around 800 to 1,200.

Within our island, the buildup towards the annual Budget Speech has historically always been one of expectation. The Minister of Finance, Hon Clyde Caruana as well as other high ranking Government officials had already announced a number of measures such as the COLA to possibly alleviate this sense of expectation.
